ROSS'S FAVORITES
FAVORITE VIBRAM STORY: "Skip-acing hole 8 at Acorn Park with a VP at Sundog's League in Minnesota for $350 dollars!"
Three Favorite Vibram Discs
Lace - It bombs because it has immense glide and it is really fast!!
VP - Any head wind shot becomes easily manageable in comparison to any other approach disc out there and down hill shots with the VP are superb. Ridge - Ultimate utility disc that you can use to drive AND putt! Favorite Ace Story: On January 12th, two friends and I were playing night golf and at 10:34 P.M. on hole 18, I threw an ace from 479 feet away and with a LED light on it!

_ Brandt Takes Down the St. Cloud Ice Bowl
_
On a chilly day in January, team Vibram player
Ross Brandt successfully played through the falling snow and won the coveted
Saint Cloud Ice Bowl Championship! A great start to his New Year, Ross takes
home the trophy at his first event in 2012. Here is a link to the news

Team Vibram Wins! |
Dana Vicich wins at the Sinnissippi Open and the Morton Pumpkin Festival. He left me with a wonderful insight: "Disc golf is cool."
Vinnie Miller takes down a crowd of young guns nipping at his heels and wins the Live Oak Summer Open and the Fly Ink Sizzler, where he shoots a 1069 rated 14 under par. Mitch Sonderfan plays "the best tournament I've ever played, start to finish" and wins at the Johnny Roberts Memorial. Ross Brandt wins The Lake Superior Open at the Mont Du Lac Ski Resort, a true north woods paradise. Nice shooting Ross! |
Ross Brandt wins at Lake Superior Open

Ross has got sole!
7/10/11 - With scenic views, rustic camping, and modern accommodations the Lake Superior Open at Mont Du Lac Ski Resort is a true north woods paradise. The ski resort includes a restaurant, bar, and patio that sits at the base of the Mountain Course and adjacent to the White Forrest Course. The LSO was a test of a player’s physical conditioning, course management, and complexity of shots in the bag. Sitting in fourth place and coming back from a two shot deficit in the third round, Ross Brandt hit a 30 foot birdie on the last hole of the White Forrest Course to WIN the LSO tournament by just one stroke!!
Ross Brandt wins Riverside Open
6/4/11 - Now with his Graduate courses finished for the summer, the disc golf season is in full swing for Ross Brandt. He smashed chains at his old, college-days course taking his first PDGA win for 2011.
In addition to winning each round, Ross earned a permanent place among the Saint Cloud greats by receiving “The Mark Smith Award” and looks forward to returning next summer to see the challenge of the course and the old hounds and young bucks of the area.
Congrats on finishing the courses (pun intended!)
