Disc golf tips and adviceThe best way to compete is with integrity and sportsmanship. Be the guy in the group that attacks the course, but has fun with his fellow competitors. If you carry yourself with a positive attitude odds are you will compete at your highest level more consistantly. If you act like you should hit every shot perfectly and then blame something or someone when you don't, odds are you aint cha$hing.
Be a player that others want to be around. At the end of the day you will love disc golf more times than not. Sports Psychology Quote:"Three C's = Concentration, Confidence, Composure". This concept has won me a few titles. Favorite disc golf coursesGold Course Rockhill, SC

Augusta Disc Golf Classic in 1993. I was 17 years old playing in my first PDGA event. I was playing in the lead group with a hot headed neck, but was able to keep the three C's in place which eventually carried me to the victory. At the time the division was called Am2, which would be equivalent to Intermediate. The best part of the story = Ken Climo and Brad Hammock were staying at the historic Partridge Inn. On Sat night the two of them were throwing brand new Flying Eye Rocs, Vipers and Aviars down the road off of their balcony. I was booking around loading my bag up with the goods. Those discs today would net a paycheck on Ebay. |
