NAVED'S FAVORITES
FAVORITE VIBRAM STORY: Just finished my round at the 2009 Vibram Open, a pretty hot first round 59 (1027 Rated). As I get to the parking area pretty stoked about my score, I see Barry Schultz in the parking lot as he says hello and asked me how I did. I tell him my score as I wonder how far off the lead I might be and then asked him how he fared out. He proceeds to tell me he shot a 49 (1100 Rated), shattering the course record. To put it mildly, I was blown away and so was everyone else as the word began to spread about his score!
Three Favorite Vibram Discs
Ibex - I love this disc for a few good reasons. Straighter than any disc I have ever thrown, longer than any mid range disc I have ever used, can be thrown at just about any angle and it will hold the line, great in the wind, and it will take impact and still fly true. I use this off the tee pad all the time. The Ibex is a trustworthy go to disc in my bag and I highly recommend it to disc throwers of all skill levels!
Ridge - From putting to throwing, this disc is the best putter I have ever used. I have grown to love and trust this disc in just about any situation. It holds a straight line and has just enough stability to manipulate it in just about any way you please. I use both the medium and firm Ridge and have currently stopped looking for the perfect putter. Lace - Stable and true, this disc goes accurate far and has a very smooth release. It's been a short period of time since the release of the long awaited high speed Black Friday 2012, but this disc has made a huge impact in my bag and has onlookers asking what that disc was? I am proud to tell them the Vibram Lace and look forward to using these drivers this upcoming disc season. |

ADVICE FROM A PRO
I found one of the best things I could recommend to a golfer of any skill level is to go out and throw your discs in open fields. You can find hidden distance you never had, learn a line you didn't think you could throw, tighten up your accuracy, find your natural strengths, or might just learn that you might not need that certain disc in your bag anymore. Whenever I look for an answer when it comes to my game, this always helps out. I hope others can use this tool to help mold their game too. Practice makes perfect, and who doesn't love to just unload their whole bag in an open field anyway?
