Mike's Three Favorite Vibrams
Sole - Got to have a solid putter!
Ascent - Great because of its predictable flight. I recently found a med x-link the has a flat top. It flies hyzer out of the box and I like the reliable flight. Ibex - This disc is the straightest flying disc I have ever thrown. It goes where you throw it. If you set it on a left to right any line it holds the line, but it can hyzer just as nice. Favorite Ace Story: Matter of fact the one Vibram Ace. Doubles tournament, first round. First two holes I hit long putts, 45 and 60' respectively with the Ridge. Next hole, Ascent, BANG! Dead center in the heart of the chains! Ace. Began the tourney -4 after only 3 holes. Finished the round -10, and the tourney -17 to win by 6 strokes.
Favorite Courses: Redwood Curtain, CA Maple Hill, MA Warwick, NY Token Creek, WI Favorite Tournaments: Vibram Open USDGC Bigfoot Small local events Disc Golf Tips: Stay in the moment. You can only effect the present, past and future have no bearing on your round. Exert maximum focus during every shot. |
Dussault Takes First in NH States!
9/19/12 - Team Vibram's Mike Dussault finished with a bang, placing first at a Masters tournament at the NH States. A fantastic win overall both for Mike Dussault and the Vibram Team as a whole!
Mike D and Pete Violet win!
3/12/11 - Team Vibram's Mike Dussault and Pete Violet win the Borderland Minuteman Classic (a NEFA Dubz event) in big style. Mike Dussault carded his first Vibram Ace - a 354' Ascent into center chains. They led the field by five after the first round and cruised to the victory.
Team Vibram's Aaron Ala (the chemist behind X-Link) partnered with Andrew Streeter in this Pro-Am doubles event and they landed in second place. That's a good 1-2 punch for Vibram at the Borderland Minuteman Classic! |
