"Little" Joe Gustafson - PDGA #9975Player StatsAces: 23
Year Born: 1967 Year Started Discing: 1995 Year Turned Pro: 1995 | Vibram in the bagSummit - Great right out of the box for short controlled left to right turn-over shots.
Ridge - Tight, straight, very predictable finish. The Ridge has become one of my main "Go To" discs for all types of shots. Holds the Hyzer, holds the Anny, but more important to me is the finish. The disc goes where you throw it. V.P. - I love a stable putter and the VP fills that spot very nicely. It has a smooth edge for the smooth release, it has improved my putting game dramatically. Ascent - Grip is second to none. Very stable performance and in my experience, does not skip away badly. It settles by the basket more consistently. Disc golf tips and adviceJust have fun. This is the greatest sport in the world. You can be competitive, focused, intense, aggressive, ... did I mention competitive?

Little Joe wins the Rumble. Rockburn style.
5/21/2011 - Little Joe Gustafson wins the 2011 Rockburn Rumble. The weather was great, sunny with a nice breeze. The Trak(aka Trek) performed excellent both rounds (1017 & 1018 rated!). Great woods disc. Played well all week with it. Shot of the day was a uphill 375' horseshoe to the left through tight trees. Pulled out the X-Link Trek, threw the hyser flip up high, made the corner, flipped up perfectly and held the line all the way to the pole. 2' drop in to seal the deal with one hole left. You gotta love it when things work out.
Little Joe wins in the snow!1/30/11 - Team Vibram is on a roll up. "Little" Joe Gustafson joins in on the winning action and brings down the Rockburn Charity Ice Bowl.
It was a Charity Ice Bowl that raised more than $800 for the Maryland Food Bank. Most players gave their winnings to the cause. Joe's favorite part of the day: the chili cookoff after the tourney! Nothing beats chili after an Ice Bowl(R). |
